Virigl Coffee, who co-owned a successful sporting goods company that had five retail stores in Texas. Virgil eventually sold his share of the company and moved to Oklahoma and began selling memberships for another motor club company unrelated to Motor Club of America. During his seventeen year tenure with the company, Virgil worked his way up to the presidency of that company, but eventually in 1987, Virgil Coffee started his own company, TVC Marketing Associates, Inc. The company continued to grow over the next 25+ years.
